John Frusciante Attacked By Ex-RHCP Guitarist’s Brother

The story of the Red Hot Chili Peppers is filled with a ton of ups and downs. The biggest issue that the Red Hot Chili Peppers had endured through their storied career is that of addiction.

When we take a look back at the timeline of the Chili Peppers we can see how many times that the band had almost come to an end due to the issues that plagued the band and almost every single member that had stepped foot into the shoes of the ethos that was the band.

The first tragedy struck when Hillel Slovack passed away from addiction. Hillel was the founding guitarist for the funk-punk-pop group. The band was hitting a huge stride before the sad passing of Slovack. After his death, we eventually got to the point in the timeline where John Frusciante would join the band and leave his legacy.

Tragedy would strike again as John would start going through addiction issues as well. Not only would John go through addiction, but the band would almost break up due to Anthony Keidis also going through his own addiction demons. John would leave the band multiple times, and in fact, John has just recently gotten back to the band after stepping away yet again, just a few years ago.

With John coming back, there have been rumors about what was going on behind the scenes up until now. Hillel Slovack’s brother has now spoken up about what he believes is true about the behind the scenes notions that John Frusciante did in his first time off away from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

With a special thanks to Reddit, Slovack stated that not only did he believe that John was damaged from past drug abuse, but he only had two real teeth left and will not speak much on camera due to brain damage that has been done due to the years upon years of addiction.
