Against The Current have kept their recent hot streak going in style with a new track, brimming with love, drama and decadence.

Titled ‘Always You & I’, it sits on the balladry side of things for the band, in a sense, allowing a different set of sentiments to show they face. Speaking of how it feels to still have that person with you, even at the end of all things, it’s a feeling that bridges the gap between fantasy and reality, where love is just as powerful on both sides of the coin.

It adds an extra layer of beauty to the band’s current expedition, and makes whatever they are building up to feel all the more special.

Vocalist Chrissy Costanza had this to say about it:

“‘Always You & I’ is about a love that transcends time, a soulmate that is destined across every lifetime. It’s about finding that person who is so certain and familiar that meeting them feels like coming home from the very first moment. They are the answer to every question; until the very end of all things, it was always them.”
