KING BUFFALO Drops Video For “Mammoth” Off Forthcoming LP

Rochester, NY rock giants King Buffalo have released the official video for their track “Mammoth,” off their forthcoming LP, Regenerator. The album is the follow up to 2021’s pair of LPs: The Burden of Restlessness and Acheron. You can check the very retro-styled video above.

The track features a heady grove, with a rip-roaring solo from guitarist/vocalist Sean McVay, and supremely-psychedelic coda that mixes up hints of Zeppelin, the Beatles, and Yes. “Mammoth” is the follow-up to two previous singles from Regenerator: the very Krautrock-influenced title track, and the hard-charging “Hours.”

“We’re incredibly excited to finally get ‘Mammoth’ out into the world,” McVay told Heavy Consequence. “Working with (director) Jake Mulhern on the video was an absolute blast. We’re super proud of how it all turned out. Hope you all enjoy it!”

In addition to the new album, King Buffalo has also announced a massive North American tour for later this year. Alongside their European dates, you’ll have plenty of chances to King Buffalo live. By the way, is it me, or is Sean McVay looking more and more like Frank Zappa with each passing day?!
