Imminence have revealed that they have made a new film to sit alongside their upcoming album ‘Axis Mundi’.

With the album set to arrive on October 02, a series of theatrical screenings of the film will take place on September 29 in the US and October 01 across the UK, Europe and Australia.

Released in collaboration with Sumerian Pictures, the ‘Axis Mundi’ film will invite fans inside the album’s complete world, with the one-night-only screenings set to feature tracks from the album, including unheard music and never-before-seen visuals that bring the story to its conclusion.

Created in parallel to form two parts of the same world, the album and film are intended to be experienced together.

Teaming up with longtime visual collaborator and album artist Jakob Koc to establish the world and its mythology, before bringing in scriptwriter Juan Felipe Zul and director Pavel Trebukhin to turn it into a fully realised film, this is Imminence on a whole new level to how you’ve seen them before.

Speaking on the announcement, guitarist Harald Barrett has shared:

“Someone told us: ‘You’re such a cinematic band, you should take it to the next step and make a movie.’ You can’t just say that to a band like IMMINENCE.“
