Comeback Kid Premiere New Single & Music Video “Shedding Season” From New Album “Chosen Hell” – Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante Guests

Canadian hardcore veterans Comeback Kid have joined forces with fellow countrywoman Courtney LaPlante, vocalist of Spiritbox, for a new collaborative track entitled “Shedding Season”. The song arrives alongside an accompanying music video directed by Graham GS. The collaboration will feature on Comeback Kid’s brand new eighth studio album, “Chosen Hell”, out today, via SharpTone Records.

In the meantime, Comeback Kid frontman Andrew Neufeld has shared some insight into the new song:

“‘Shedding Season‘ is about peeling back the stress, drama, and pain that we’ve been carrying on through life with. It’s about the specific or period in life where the decision is made to set ourselves free from harmful weight that we have lived in up until that point. It is about defining that moment and feeling confident in the choice to move forward leaving it behind.

We were fortunate enough to get Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox to guest on this song and she crushed it. It is a back and forth, ‘me against you’ type of lyrical narrative between Courtney and I. Her voice is untouchable and her guttural yell screams volumes of passion in this song. ‘Losing you was a solid win.’”
