Mathcore legends Botch are back at it again, and sound as fresh as ever.
Your favourite band have a lot to thank Botch for.
Creators of some of the most influential and intense sounds of the early 00’s, their back catalogue is one filled with crushing catharsis that can be heard in so much of what is produced today, and will continue to be produced in the future.
And they have just released their first new music in 20 years. Who saw that coming?
The music in question is ‘One Twenty Two’, a spiky and seething two minutes of noodling riffs and crushing bass, with the sort of innovative grit that only they could bring to the table.
It’s refreshing and raw and perhaps the start of something radical.
