The time for a new Avenged Sevenfold record is slowly but surely drawing nearer. The band has announced a new digital world named City Of Evil (after their 2005 album) created in The Sandbox environment to get ahead of their coming new music. All we know about City Of Evil (the digital world) is that it’ll play “a major role in gathering information and socializing with other fans,” and all we know about the new album is that the band was recently recording vocals. So stay tuned!
“As many of you know, we are currently finishing up our 8th studio album,” said vocalist M. Shadows. “We expect to be firing on all cylinders once that is ready to be released, and this ‘social hub’ will play a major role in gathering information and socializing with other fans. For the ones who have been patient, thank you. We also want to thank our team at Nabiya Creative for diving into the A7X culture and really nailing the aesthetic for the fans. We have much more to build… this is just the start.”
Shadows also noted on Twitter that the City Of Evil world is currently free. “This alpha test is free and for all who want to participate. No NFT’s or Crypto required. We hope you check it out.” You can indeed check it out here.
