Chat Pile Share Cataclysmic New Track ‘PEN I S MALL’

Chat Pile have shared a new track, set to appear on their upcoming full-length ‘Who Loves The Sun’, and it is absolutely disgusting in all the finest ways.

Brilliantly titled ‘PEN I S MALL’ (make of it whatever you wish), it is a track pulled straight from the swamp. A contorting, blisterted, belligerant piece of industrially reinforced hardcore that feels like the Earth being scorched right before your eyes. A near six-minute ordeal of downtrodden chords, calloused howls and chaotic intent, it is a terrifyingly brutal listen that perfectly embodies the despair and dark decadence that sits at the heart of the band.

Bassist Stin had this to say about it:

“PEN I S MALL” is “…the heaviest Chat Pile song to date. The song and title refer to a stretch of time when Raygun was working as a maintenance man at one of the local shopping malls here in OKC. He screamed himself into a pretty brutal headache tracking this one if I remember correctly”

Whilst vocalist Ray B. continues: “If survival wasn’t so brutal in the United States, a maintenance job at a local mall could in theory be a fun gig… Of course, the awful beast known as Capitalism is extremely rickety with not enough to truly go around in fair share as those in the lower and even middle positions know all to well.”

‘Who Loves The Sun’ will be unleashed on September 04 via The Flenser.

The artwork looks like this:
