Of Virtue have dropped new single ‘Holy’, which is the latest cut from their forthcoming ‘Omen’ LP.
‘Omen’ is set for release on September 29 via Arising Empire Records, arriving after the midwestern metal act’s recently-finished UK headline tour.

Describing the new track, vocalist Tyler Ennis has explained its origins, saying:
“I wrote ‘Holy’ after a relationship which meant a lot to me ended. It was difficult, I wanted to apologise for who I was and ‘Holy’ is how I made my best attempt.
“All in all, ‘Holy’ is about holding yourself accountable and realising that it’s possible that you were the reason why something, in this case my relationship, didn’t work out the way we had wanted it to.”
And on the forthcoming ‘Omen’ album, the band have said:
“Three years in the making and feeling as if it’s the most significant one in our timeline thus far, this album was by far the most difficult to create in many more ways than one and one of the most emotional experiences for us.
“Hope that it helps you through your time of need, the way it did us.”
In September, Of Virtue will be returning for live shows in the UK as support for Being As An Ocean.
