Watch Taylor Hawkins’ Son Shane Play Drums With Foo Fighters – News

One of a series of special moments at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert in London, Shane joined Foo Fighters for an emotional rendition of ‘My Hero’.

This weekend, Foo Fighters paid tribute to their drummer Taylor Hawkins with a very special, very emotional concert in London, the first of two. 

Featuring a whole array of special guests and moments that defined Taylor as a fan of music as well as an artist, it was quite the spectacle. 

But there is one moment that sticks out as being poignant in a different way. 

That was when Taylor’s son Shane joined Foo Fighters on stage for a playthrough of ‘My Hero’.

A song that sends shivers down the spine at the best of times, watching Shane hit the drums as hard as he did is enough to let the waterworks start flowing. 

It’s an incredible moment and one that will be watched for years and years to come.
