The Pretty Reckless’ new album ‘Dear God’ is out right now and is already looking like it’s going to give them a career best in the UK album chart.

The record itself deserves such easy plaudits. An stark, honest and rip-roaring journey through not just rock and roll’s rich tapestry of sounds, but also of Taylor Momsen’s relationship not only with herself but with the life that she has lived in this world, it’s as emotional as it is energetic.

And following it dropping last Friday (June 26) via Fearless Records, according to the Official Charts Company the album is currently sitting at No.04 in the midweek albums chart. If it stays that way, it will become the band’s highest charting album to date, surpassing both 2010’s ‘Light Me Up’ and 2021’s ‘Death By Rock And Roll’, both of which peaked at No.06.
