Ryan Oakes has released his long-awaited debut album ‘Wake Up’.

The rap-rock artist has released some 250 songs independently over the years, but has today dropped his new, full-length LP via Position Music.
As was the case with the album’s previous singles ‘White Flag’, ‘Ruined’ and ‘Ground Zero’, Oakes has shared a cinematic visual for ‘Unapologetic’.
When viewed collectively, the videos for these tracks create a short story of a girlfriend who becomes a robot killing machine – watch the ‘Unapologetic’ music video below.
Speaking about the brand-new, 12-track album as a whole, Oakes has described some of the creative ideas behind the project, saying:
“I put my own personality into the music as much as I can.”
“There are some witty lines and a lot of personal truths. We’re trying to blend the genres so well to a point where you can’t label what we’re doing.
“It’s super detailed down to the smallest piece. That’s the Ryan Oakes secret sauce. It’s something no one else can replicate.”
Following the release of ‘Wake Up’, Oakes will be embarking on his first-ever headline tour, commencing this Sunday in Phoenix.
