“Finally. Wish he would of thanked Bob Daisley, Lee Kerslake, Jake E. Lee, Tommy Aldrich & Rudy Sarzo,” a fan wrote about the speech, tagging Sarzo.

“He did thank Randy Rhoads,” Rudy said in his response.

Osbourne was first inducted as a member of Black Sabbath in 2006. On October 19th, he was honored again and this time around as a solo artist – something he has been eligible for since 2006.

At the ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio, a tribute to Osbourne’s solo career was performed by Billy Idol, Maynard James Keenan, and Jelly Roll. They were joined by a band that included bassist Rob Trujillo, Zakk Wylde, Wolfgang Van Halen, Chad Smith, guitarist Steve Stevens, and producer Andrew Watt.

“F*cking love you guys. Well, here we are. You know what? I can’t believe I’m here myself. Let me get the thank yous out of the way, because I’m not going to bore you with a long, drawn-out f*cking monologue,” Ozzy said in his thank-you speech.

He added, “I’d like to thank whoever voted me into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for my solo work. A great thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Jack Black inducted Ozzy, saying, “Sure, you could go stream Post Malone and Taylor Swift and get all the warm hugs you need for your broken hearts. OR you could stay up all night and get your minds blown by Ozzy’s entire catalogue for the first time. Holy sh*t! You kids are so f*ckin’ lucky.”

Osbourne gave a short speech and thanked Randy Rhoads. Some fans argued on Reddit that the night focused heavily on Rhoads, but some felt Ozzy missed the chance to thank Dana Strum and Bob Daisley, who played key roles in his career. Jack Black hosted but skipped over the Jake E. Lee era. Wolfgang Van Halen performed “Crazy Train,” a song by Rhoads.

Lee was recently shot while walking his dog outside. Osbourne released a statement after the shooting but some fans found it fake as he didn’t give credit to him on ‘Bark At The Moon.’
