OFF! have released a visualizer video for an instrumental track, “F”, which is to be featured on their forthcoming album Free LSD, which is available beginning September 30. A pres-sale/pre-save is available here. You can check out the flashback-inducing clip for “F” below.

Earlier this month OFF! released the first single off Free LSD, “War Above Los Angeles,” as singer Keith Morris shared how the album will reflect a broader sound for OFF!, with notes of free jazz scattered throughout, and the album itself based on a short story by guitarist Dmitri Coats. There will be an accompanying film of the same name, as well.

While it’s only 90 seconds more of Free LSD than we heard prior to today, it’s easy to hear those elements hard at work already. “F” features improvisations by saxophonist Jon Wahl amid crashing drums and guitar feedback. Though, it is not mindless chaos at all. It reminds the listener of the heady recordings of Sun Ra and his orchestra, and the last recordings of the great John Coltrane.

OFF! will hit the road in October for a North American tour that runs through the end of the year. You can check out all dates below.
