Nothing But Thieves have shared another piece of their upcoming album ‘Stray Dogs’, and it’s a left turn in the most wonderful of ways.

Titled ‘Baby Kool (Evelyn)’, it’s a ice cold and effortlessly slick piece of alt-rock with plenty of emo and tendencies thrown in for good measure. As always, bolstered by an incredible vocal performance from Conor Mason, it showcases a different side to the band. One that allows for a bit of silliness and tongue-in-cheek fun.
And that is ramped up via the bizarre video that accompanies, featuring a lovely dog a new alien character to become obsessed with.
The band had this to say about it:
“This one felt like we wandered back into Dom’s garage, where the band started. It’s got one foot in glam and the other in grunge. Those two worlds’ probably shouldn’t get along, which is maybe why they did. We often find that’s where the interesting
stuff is.”
‘Stray Dogs’ is set for release on September 05.
