Currently-paused project Code Orange‘s multi-instrumentalists Jami Morgan and Eric Balderose have just announced their forthcoming EP, What Did You Do?, under the artist name NOWHERE2RUN.

The new release is looking like it’ll be a project centred around production rather than your typical instrumental venture.

Due out on Halloween – October 31st, two Fridays from now – and distributed through Balderose and Morgan‘s own label, Nowhere Recordings, it will have features from six different artists: Backxwash, Erex, Ho99o9, Kamiyada, Lecx Stacy, and Sadistik.

Apparently, NOWHERE2RUN is the sibling of Code Orange, a continuation of what the duo were doing in their first group, with Morgan saying that “it felt like the right time to lower the mask and reveal a little bit of NOWHERE2RUN identity as artists. We constructed this project through the lens of a mystery, something very dark and tech-noir-ish. It feels like an appropriate way to start to tell the story of where we are at and where we have been.”
