In This Moment have shared the details of their latest dive into the abyss, delivered via their first album in three years.

Titled ‘WITCH’, it is due to be released on August 28, and serves as their first release for Better Noise Music.

Vocalist Maria Brink had this to say about what the record represents for her:

“WITCH is my declaration of inner transformation. It’s about embracing the duality within — taking pain, persecution, and struggle — and alchemizing them into strength and power. The album reflects both ancient trials and my own journey — where being a ‘witch’ means being a creator, connected to the universe, manifesting my own reality.”

The record is set to feature the already unleashed ‘Sleeping With The Enemy’, and you can also hear the newly dropped ‘Crawl’ right now. A gripping, tenacious, pummelling piece of electronic-crossing darkness, it’s a creepy and callous offering that showcases the sort of malevolent forces the band are willing to deal with.

Guitarist Chris Howorth had this to say about it:

“‘Crawl’ is a visceral track that delivers the undeniable observation of powerful entities dominating and abusing the weaker and compromised masses — something that continues to repeat itself throughout human history. The song empowers and, at its core, is about standing up and fighting back.”

In This Moment are due to co-headline Taste of Chaos alongside Hollywood Undead, with support coming from I See Stars, Vana, and Melrose Avenue.
