Heartbreak does not have to spend the entire weekend sitting still. Paris WYA’s “Treat Me Right” has taken a new route through the hands of LAWRENT, with an August 7 remix that her team presents as the moment hurt begins turning into release.

The original belongs to MANNEQUIN, her project exploring heartbreak, self-perception and the gradual return to yourself. For this version, the Paris-born, London-based producer brings the song into dance territory. Paris describes the remix as what follows the heartbreak: a fresh perspective that preserves the original’s emotional center while opening the windows around it.
