MOD SUN has shared another piece of his new era, and it’s readymade for the Summer in all the best ways possible.

It’s called ‘2am’ and it is all about those nights that stick with you forever and the people that make them special. The essence of what it is to be human and to connect with each other, it’s as much a love song about a person as it is about a place. It’s also a love song about yourself, and what it means to take the reigns and do things that are right for you over everyone else. At this point in MOD SUN’s journey, that is a sentiment that shines the brightest, and this song demonstrates it in screaming colour.

MOD had this to say about it:

“I made “2am” on my first trip to Nashville before I officially moved there. I wrote it about one of my first nights out when I fell in love with the city.  I met a girl who dragged me around her favorite spots. We had the greatest time, but when the lights went on, she was gone, and I never saw her again.”

It follows on from ‘Mirror’, which arrived earlier this year and sounds like this:
