My First Time Share Razor-Sharp New Track ‘Picture Of Health’

My First Time have released their first new music of 2026, and it is a damning look at the state of society in their uniquely vibrant manner.

Titled ‘Picture Of Health’, it’s a brilliantly British take on individuals who push overindulgence as a characteristic of success. Of pushing the body to the limit via alcohol and nicotine addiction, of using sex as an excuse for bad behaviour and of thinking that it all equates to a lifestyle that others would die for.

It’s presented in the band’s typically spiky manner, with neon-drenched synths and angular riffs, all pointing towards carnage in the middle of the pit.

Vocalist Isaac Stroud-Allen had this to say in terms of summing up the song’s message:

“Living vicariously through fitness and financial gurus online, The Picture Of Health sits indulging in every cheap hit available. Viewing himself as a sort of pale-faced, heavy-breathing Tom Cruise, The Picture Of Health mythologises his own collapse, reframing addiction, consumerism and emotional vacancy as proof of success.”

The track picks up where the band left off in 2025, seeing the year out playing a sweaty sold-out show at London’s The George Tavern and releasing ‘Sippy Cup’, which sounds like this:
