Atmospheric black metal project Woods Of Desolation, the project headed up by frontman D. and drummer and keyboardist Vlad (Drudkh, Windswept), has signed with Season Of Mist and is now streaming the title track of their new album “The Falling Tide.” I’d point out how excellent the writing and overall misty production of the single is, but Woods Of Desolation has been around since 2005 – they’ve had time to get really good at this.

The Falling Tide is out December 9 and is available for pre-order here. The Falling Tide is Woods Of Desolation‘s first new album since 2014’s As The Stars, and is a very welcome return.
