The Amazons have announced the details of their upcoming new album ’21st Century Fiction’, set for release on May 09, 2025.

The follow-up to 2022’s ‘How Will I Know If Heaven Will Find Me?’, it features new single ‘Pitch Black’ which you can check out below:

On the themes of the new record, frontman Matthew Thomson says it “comes from the frustration of being in that place where my 20s were ending and being really cognisant of that…self-flagellation; always wondering what’s around the corner, always scolding myself for not matching up to some unattainable ideals of what it means to be a successful band or even just a man.”

The band worked with producers Catherine Marks and Pete Hutchings on the album with Royal Blood frontman Mike Kerr taking on those duties for ‘My Blood’ which also features drummer Ben Thatcher.
