Metal: Hellsinger held a show at Gamescom 2022 showcasing a handful of songs and musicians featured in their game. The show featured performances by Matt Heavy (Trivium, Ibaraki), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Mikael Stanne (The Halo Effect, Dark Tranquillity), Dennis Lyxzén (Refused), and James Dorton (Black Crown Initiate, The Faceless). According to the game’s Steam listing, Metal: Hellsinger is a rhythm FPS, where your ability to shoot on the beat will enhance your gameplay experience. The more in sync you are with the rhythm, the more intense the music will become and the more destruction you will cause.
