“Trash Island” is all about being garbage, eating garbage, and dying from consuming plastic found in just about everything these days… but at least it’s all set to a happy surf tune that occasionally veers off into the black progressive metal worlds the lyrics obviously come from. Or as Cyborg Octopus puts it, “The song is about how we are trash – and how everything we make is trash – and how everything else is also trash.”

Pre-orders for Between The Light And Air are available here. Cyborg Octopus will also reissue their 2016 debut album Learning To Breathe on vinyl the same day, and you can grab that here. Now go eat some garbage.
