We couldn’t agree more with the title selection Orgone used to name their latest EP. The Los Angeles-based band has once again captured the essence of 60’s and 70’s soul music. The band started as a four-piece group with extraordinary talent into something much, much more.
Noticeably absent from the new record is Miss Fanny Franklin whose vocal talent helped launched the group into the altitude the group enjoys today. Even with that powerful piece missing the group deployed an equally talented vocalist to complete each of these songs which are very different in terms of style and delivery.
The group is performing live to promote the piece at the soon at the prestigious Hog Farm Hideaway music festival in Laytonville, CA on June 9-11th.
