Dutch symphonic metallers Within Temptation have announced their forthcoming eighth studio album ‘Bleed Out’ – and shared its title track.

‘Bleed Out’ will arrive October 20 and follows the release of the band’s single ‘Wireless’ in May.

Prior to that, the band’s seventh studio album ‘Resist’ arrived back in 2019.

Describing the origins of the track, Within Temptation vocalist Sharon den Adel has explained the very real world events that inspired it, saying:

“The war in Ukraine has influenced us a lot. As artists we are inspired by the world, and we have this platform. 

“We are storytellers, and I think as human beings, these are things we should be talking about.”
