Trash Boat Cancel 2025 UK & Europe Tour

Trash Boat have cancelled their forthcoming UK and European tour dates, which were set to take place in early 2025.

With the shows set to celebrate the release of their 2024 album ‘Heaven Can Wait’, the band have issued a statement on the cancellation.

They shared:

“We are devastated to have to announce that our upcoming UK and EU tour is being cancelled. This decision was not made lightly, as we worked hard to try and make these shows happen. However, after careful consideration, we realised we would not be able to deliver a show that meets the standards you deserve and that we hold ourselves to.

“We will be taking a break but will return.

“Thank you for your ongoing love and support, it means so much to us.”

Refunds are available from the point of purchase.

Earlier this year, we spoke to frontman Tobi Duncan as part of Rock Sound’s ‘The Album Story’ feature.

Discussing the band’s latest record and comparing it to their earlier years, he told us:

“When we were writing our early stuff, we were in our late teens and early twenties.

“There was a lot of angst and anxiousness about whether this band we were putting so much into would work alongside things going on in our personal lives that were good and bad and great fuel for lyrics.

“Those first albums were reflections of our situations, which were worse than they currently are. We still have troubles and negative thoughts now, all things that will fuel music.

“But I couldn’t be a genuine artist and creator if I was just drawing on past experiences that I have already written about that are becoming less and less relevant to my current status.”
