Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge has been dealing with health issues. DeLonge recently spoke between a couple of tracks at a Blink-182 show about battling a nasty bug which led to a couple of shows being canceled last week. He hasn’t recovered quite yet, but he was still able to put on a show with a 24-track setlist, powering through the show. Fans revealed that Tom was constantly blowing his nose and spraying his throat with numbing spray.

One fan revealed that DeLonge mentioned getting it from the singer of Pierce the Veil at the Philly show. He was using it quite a bit. Tom had also joked that it was a combination of eucalyptus and v*gina juice. and that it tasted like Mark’s dad.
The band had previously canceled their concerts in Kansas City and St. Louis “due to illness.” They announced the news on social media, writing:
“Unfortunately, due to illness we are unable to make it to Kansas City and St. Louis,” the band wrote on X, confirming that refunds would be issued automatically to ticket holders who purchased through Ticketmaster. “We are so sorry and hope to see you next time,” the band added.
Prior to the announcement, Tom DeLonge, could be seen struggling during a show. DeLonge also confirmed it later. He even took to his Facebook account and posted a picture. In the caption, he made it clear that he fell sick, but he is recovering. He wrote:
“I am bathing my sickness in bleach… I am so sorry about the cancellation of shows but boy did I get sick. Coming out of it now, looking forward to continue the adventure. @blink182”
Blink-182 are set to headline Reading & Leeds festival in the U.K. Recently, they surprised the fans when they dropped clips of four new songs from the One More Time deluxe edition which fans are excited about. We will have to wait and see when the actual album releases.
