The reissue marked the first time Terraforming is available on vinyl, and will feature a new mix by Scott Evans (Thrice, Kowloon Walled City) and a new mastering job by Brad Boatright (Sleep, Torche). The Terraforming reissue will be out on April 14 and pre-orders are available here.

More importantly, The Postman Syndrome has also announced their first show since 2005 at Crossroads in Garwood, NJ with support from Nora and So Hideous. Tickets are available here.

Who the hell was The Postman Syndrome, anyway? Well, after the band broke up, bassist Brett Bamberger and guitarist and vocalist Matt Lupo went on to form East Of The Wall. Guitarist and vocalist Chris Alfano and later-era drummer Seth Rheam would eventually join East Of The Wall as well, while Bamberger has gone on to bands like Revocation and River Black.

So yeah, The Postman Syndrome was one of those important bands that spawned a bunch of great stuff and deserves more attention.
