The Molotovs have shared a new piece of their upcoming record ‘Wasted On Youth’, which is set for release at the end of January.

The fresh offering is titled ‘Get A Life’ and is 113 seconds of unbridled aggro. Snotty, seething and sensationally catchy, it is the embodiment of the past, present and, with the course that the band are taking, the future of punk. Wonderfully British in approach and performed with a devilish grin firmly planted across both Matt and Issey Cartlidge’s lips, it’s as fresh a statement of intent as you’re going to hear.

Matt had this to say about the tune, stating, “Get A Life’ is one of those tracks where as soon as the opening riffs come in, the whole room goes mad. It’s a punk song. We love Buzzcocks, Libertines, The Horrors, The Jam, the Pistols – we love The Undertones. It’s a pretty angry song, pretty pointed, and I can’t possibly tell you who it’s directed at!”
