The Hu have released part two of the music video for their new single “Black Thunder.” It’s the first taste of new music from The Hu since they announced their forthcoming and highly-anticipated second album, Rumble Of Thunder, which is available September 2. Pre-orders for the album are available here.
“‘Black Thunder’ is the crown jewel of our second album,” says The Hu vocalist Gala. “The music video is split into two parts and conveys the core values of men through visuals.” [via Loudwire]
“Our producer Dashka chose a unique location in Mongolia to shoot the video, where we had a great time riding the horses in the vast grassland of our countryside. We hope that our pride in our culture shines through, as we aimed to bring viewers joy and a piece of our culture through this video.”
Gala added that “We can’t wait for you to listen and enjoy [our second album] as much as we enjoyed recording it.”
The “Black Thunder” video was directed by Erdenebileg Ganbold and takes fans through the days leading up to a battle and the ensuing violence. You can check out both parts of the clip below, and be sure to check The Hu out on tour at one of their many dates this year.
