This is the second time in two weeks I’ve been blown away by a death metal band from Spain. First it was Ósserp and now it’s the Barcelona-based death doom band Bocc with their debut album Dolça mort en els llims del Rec Comtal. If you’re looking for sludge-drenched death metal that just crawled out of the sewer exclusively to find you and tear your spine out, then Bocc is for you. If not, Bocc is gonna find your sorry ass anyway.
