Return To Dust have hit a very special milestone, with their track ‘Bored’ going to the top of the US Active Rock Chart.

The song was originally released in the Summer of 2025 and is an embodiment of everything that was so thrilling about grunge in the 90s forced through a modern mesh. Insanely catchy, wonderfully brash and brimming with all of the attitude and intensity that helped to define a pivotal era in music, its success shows that there is still a hunger for it in the here and now. Nostalgic yet fresh.

The achievement comes from data compiled by Mediabase’s Building Charts, which revealed that the song has received 293 plays this past week on Active Rock radio across the US. It’s in good company too, with Poppy, Amy Lee and Courtney LaPlante’s ‘End Of You’ in the No.02 slot while Bad Omens’ ‘Dying To Love’ is at No.03.

The band had this to say in a post on their socials about the achievement, stating, “We genuinely cannot fathom this. couldn’t think of a better song to do it. live your life. Don’t let people tell you what your path is. Carve that shit yourself. That’s what Bored is about. Love y’all so much. keep on livin. See you this year on the road.”

The band are scheduled to support YUNGBLUD on eight shows during his upcoming US tour. These shows, to be exact.
