Obscura is back with the second single from their upcoming record A Sonication, due out February 7. Obscura is now streaming the groovier single “Evenfall” alongside a music video directed by Mirko Witzki (Arch Enemy, Powerwolf, Eskimo Callboy).

“With ‘Evenfall’ we look into the most anticipated song by the band to perform in a live setting on our upcoming tours,” said Obscura mastermind Steffen Kummerer. “The dynamics, groove and pace falls perfectly into place. One of my personal highlights of the new album, showcasing a rather cinematic sound scape within the Obscura universe.”

Obscura in 2024 is currently Kummerer alongside new members bassist Robin Zielhorst (ex-Cynic, ex-Exivious), drummer James Stewart (Bloodshot Dawn, Decapitated), and guitarist Kevin Olasz.
