Nine Inch Nails have announced a new album project, which will serve as the soundtrack for upcoming film ‘Tron: Ares’.

Featuring all original music by the band, the soundtrack for the third instalment in the TRON film franchise will be released on September 19 via Interscope Records.

The first-ever film score by the band – although bandmates Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have composed 20 scores under their own names – the album’s first single ‘As Alive As You Need Me To Be’ is out now.
