Michael Jackson Daughter Reveals Truth About Foo Fighters

Paris Jackson is a model, actor, singer, songwriter, and musician, and she has achieved all of this while just being 24. She is the second and only daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, she calls her father the King of pop, rock, and soul.

In an interview with Spin, she elaborated on numerous topics, including who her inspirations were. In February, she released “Lighthouse,” which featured Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready paired with a music video that pays homage to Nirvana’s “Sliver.” The song features ‘90s guitar rock that she grew up listening to since she was in junior high school.

The Grammy-nominated Butch Walker is Jackson’s friend, and they worked together on the song. He produced, co-wrote, and played the guitar for the song, as well as other tracks which haven’t been released yet. Jackson is a fan of Walker’s ‘90s band Marvelous 3 so it was only fitting that he would provide the guitars and lyrics for the song.

“It was my back pocket, for sure, so that combination was easy and effortless,” Walker said. “She would reference certain things for certain songs, like everyone does in the studio, and I was completely on board with all of those references and influences – everyone from my band to The Smashing Pumpkins, The Cranberries, Foo Fighters, and Nirvana. I came up on all of those things, so it wasn’t really far from my trajectory to know how to record records like that.”
