Knuckle Puck have unveiled their fourth album, ‘Losing What We Love’ and shared a hilarious video for new single, ‘You & I’.
The band’s first full-length release on Pure Noise Records, ‘Losing What We Love’ features previously released single ‘The Tower’.
It also features new song ‘You & I’, which arrives with its own video (containing some top quality acting from the band) – have a watch and a listen below.
Speaking on the new track, the band have said:
“‘You & I’ is a song about being acutely aware of how much somebody sucks as a person and looking
forward to cutting ties with them.”
Talking through the making of the band’s fourth record, Knuckle Puck guitarist Nick Casasanto said:
“For a long time, we felt a responsibility to have this overwhelming hopefulness to our lyrics.
“This time around, we started writing more honestly with less intent to sound cool or hopeful. It feels like we’re in a bit of a losing battle with the state of the world, but in the past we’d say, ‘Oh, but it’s all OK!’
“Now we’re saying, ‘No, we should be panicking.’ This record feels like more of an expression than a motivational speech.”
Knuckle Puck play When We Were Young Festival this weekend, before heading out with Real Friends on a full co-headline tour across the US.
