The nominations for the 2025 MOBO Awards were unveiled this morning (December 04), including the names in the Best Alternative Music Act category.

Presented in association with Marshall, it will see Kid Bookie, ALT BLK ERA, Bob Vylan and Native James compete for the title at the ceremony which takes place in Newcastle on February 18. Tickets to the event are on sale here.

For nearly 30 years, the MOBO Awards have celebrated black music from the UK and around the world, with the Best Alternative category introduced in 2023. Skindred were presented with the award at the 2024 ceremony which took place in Sheffield earlier this year.
