The band recently made waves with their debut performance at the wrap party for the “Minecraft” live-action adaptation, where they showcased their passion for rock classics.

Since their debut, Öof Tatatá has been actively performing, hitting stages in notable music hubs like Nashville, Montana, and Austin. Their recent gigs at The Bungalow in Santa Monica and the Sunset Room in Hollywood have drawn significant attention. At these performances, the band treats audiences to a curated setlist featuring iconic tracks from legends such as Jimi Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child,” Metallica’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” and selections from Stevie Nicks, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and The Stooges.

Notably, Jason Momoa has been joined on stage by fellow musicians and friends including Jack Black, Gibson CEO Cesar Gueikian, and “Game of Thrones” co-creator D.B. Weiss, enhancing the band’s allure and musical prowess. One of Momoa’s close photographer friends shared their experience, noting the band’s infectious enthusiasm and the vibrant atmosphere they create during performances. They also mentioned Öof Tatatá’s affiliation with @meilivodka, hinting at broader connections and shared creative endeavors.

“I’ve never seen my friend nervous to do anything and we were all caught up in the energy of the overcoming, the art-making, the wonderful joy he and his bandmates, @mikehayesmusic and @kennydaleborill brought into the music hall.

“They put on an incredible show and toasted fans and friends with @meilivodka and shared the history and vision of creating those fine spirits. The town warmly welcomed @blainehalvorson back home. It was a crazy night.”

While the band’s focus has been on covers thus far, speculation remains about their potential foray into recording original material. Some attendees have suggested that Öof Tatatá might already be testing the waters with original songs, hinting at possible future releases.
