Illenium and Bring Me The Horizon have joined forces on a boundary-destroying track, combining EDM and metal in a big way.

Titled ‘Slave To The Rithim’, it is a euphoric and exploratory creation that is chaotic in all the right ways. Swaying between the sort of driving beats of techno, the crushing heft of dubstep and the shimmering light of trance, whilst Oli Sykes delivers crystalline croons and vicious barks, it covers the full spectrum of heaviness on both sides of the coin.
There’s a little bit of something for everyone. A journey through the history of electronic music that feels as celebratory as it is chaotic.
There’s even a breakdown.
It’s a firm reminder of BMTH’s longstanding relationship with EDM, which stretches back to the very beginning of their journey, and hearing them still finding new ways to keep it fresh all these years later is a real treat.
