Halsey has shared the third single from her forthcoming fifth album, the wickedly dark alt-rock track ‘Lonely Is The Muse’.

Taken from the as-yet-unannounced full-length, it follows the vulnerable ‘The End’ and the Y2K pop-infused ‘Lucky’.

The heaviest offering from the project so far, it’s stacked full of powerful guitars and features some brilliantly raw screams from the 29-year-old musician.

A track exploring ideas of self-worth, take a listen to ‘Lonely Is The Muse’ below.

The single’s artwork shows Halsey straddling the tomb of French journalist Victor Noir, a site said to represent fertility.
