Flea Lies To Red Hot Chili Peppers Fans At Concert

Communication is the key to any situation. It looks like Red Hot Chilli Peppers forgot this basic rule when Flea from the group announced an after-party after the show. Flea said it happens at Pinky’s Westside Grill in west Charlotte. It was a 20-minute walk from the event site, which was a good idea.

Fans stormed the location at 10:30 pm after listening to the group’s 2006 hit “Snow (Hey Oh).” The news spread like wildfire as people shared the information on Social media and other mediums to get people to the eatery. Pinky got stormed to full capacity with no space for anyone. The place was closed down, according to Twitter user Haley Mefferd.

The fans showed up at the eatery, but the band had a no-show. It’s not correct for a band to ditch its fans this way. While this may make them look unprofessional, Pinky’s had a blast serving customers. The outlet that closes at 11 pm was open until late midnight assisting users.

Everyone wanted a photo with the band, but the band went out without a bang. Red Hot Chilli Peppers is a name in the music industry. They have fans from different age groups. One cannot discount that they have inspired people to follow their dreams, including music. Mefferd had this to say about the experience:

“I actually got in and got a drink before they closed but then, we got kicked out, so we sat outside for a while.”

No one knows where the band went after the show although they told their fans that an after-party would happen after the show. Do you think it was wise of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers to ditch their fanbase this way? Sound off in the comments section.
