Evanescence Announce New Album ‘Sanctuary’

Evanescence have announced the details of their new full-length album, serving as the follow-up to 2021’s ‘The Bitter Truth’.

The album is set to be titled ‘Sanctuary’ will be released on June 05.

Vocalist Amy Lee had this to say about the making of the record, stating, “This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it. It’s overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection… good thing we have the tour all lined up, or I wouldn’t know what to do with myself now! I’ve been completely obsessed. I’m dying for the fans to hear this.”

The artwork looks like this:

Whilst the tracklisting is like this:

1. Beautiful Lie
2. Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough
3. Who Will You Follow
4. Rapture
5. Afterlife
6. Sanctuary
7. How Do I Heal
8. About Us
9. Calm Down
10. Self Destruct
11. Forever Without You
12. Wide Open Heart

As you will see, the record is set to feature the band’s megahit ‘Afterlife’, but it’s not the only piece of the album you can hear right now.

‘Who Will You Follow’ is also available right now, and was co-written and produced by none other than Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish.

The result is an atmospherically crushing new track that embodies the unrivalled etherealism and haunting energy that have come to define the band over the last two decades, whilst also feeling thoroughly fresh and ferociously modern.

The band will be hitting the road in June on a world tour where they will be joined by Spiritbox in the US and Poppy in the UK and Europe. Nova Twins will also be opening in the US and Europe, and K.Flay will open in the UK.
