Huddy is back with another slice of pop-rock crossover, further expanding his intentions and attitude as he glides into a new era.

The track is titled ‘Cheap’ and is a densely layered and quietly crushing piece. Allowing Huddy to speak on those who have tried to drag him down over the years, and instead taking back ownership of the things he has done, it’s as defiant as it is decadent. He is having fun, but he isn’t holding back either, which is a powerful position to be in.

Huddy had this to say about the song:

“‘Cheap’ is a song that embodies freeing yourself from negativity – looking at the things that have affected you and telling them they have no power over you anymore. Throughout my life, I’ve let names, rumors, and hate bring me down, and this song flips all of that,”

It follows on from ‘Burn The Ballroom Down’, which arrived late last year and sounds just like this:

Huddy is on the Vol. 01 of Pop Sound, delivering his own version of Ariana Grande’s ‘we can’t be friends’.
