THE HOWLING have announced their debut EP in sensational style with the release of a song that will stick with you long after it has ended.

The track is titled ‘New Religion’, and is a stream of consciousness from the very centre of vocalist Mikey Lord. A thesis on what it means to feel like you don’t fit in with what anybody anywhere thinks you should be, and the personal search for solace and serenity in a world that doesn’t understand how your mind and body work.

It’s set against a dramatic backdrop of theatrical rock with an emo twist, the sort that is as timeless as the sentiment it conveys.

It’s a bold statement of intent and a reminder that you are never alone in your battles. There are others out there who know what it’s like, and sometimes, they become your favourite band.

The band’s debut EP will be titled ‘Salvo’ and is set to be released on May 22.
