Twenty One Pilots, Sleep Token & More Nominated at 2026 iHeartRadio Awards

iHeartRadio have revealed the nominees for their 2026 awards, and there is plenty of rock, metal and alternative representation across the board.
In the category for Duo/Group Of The Year, Twenty One Pilots, Sleep Token, and Shinedown are flying the flag, facing off against Maroon 5 and HUNTR/X, EJAE, AUDREY NUNA, REI AMI.
Twenty One Pilots and Linkin Park also appear in the Alternative Artist Of The Year category, alongside Green Day, Sublime and Cage The Elephant. The former also features in the under Alternative Song Of The Year category with ‘The Contract’, celebrated alongside Green Day’s ‘One Eyed Bastard’, Sombr’s ‘Back To Friends’, Sublime’s ‘Ensenada’ and Myles Smith’s ‘Stargazing’.
As we head into the Rock categories, Linkin Park and Shinedown are also up for Rock Artist Of The Year. They are joined by Sleep Token, Papa Roach and Three Days Grace. Rock Song Of The Year comprises ‘Afterlife’ by Evanescence, ‘Dance, Kid, Dance’ by Shinedown, ‘Even If It Kills Me’ by Papa Roach, ‘Heavy Is The Crown’ by Linkin Park, and ‘Bad Guy’ by Falling In Reverse.
Then we have Best New Artist for Rock, which is made up of Spiritbox, Poppy, Sleep Theory, Architects and Return To Dust.
5 Seconds Of Summer’s Calum Hood and Michael Clifford have both been nominated for their respective solo albums in the Favourite Debut Album category.
As a bonus, Tom Pallant is also nominated for Favourite Tour Photographer, for his longstanding work with YUNGBLUD.
Voting for all categories is open right now and can be conducted on a daily basis right here. The ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 26 and will be aired live on FOX.
