In September of 2024, Dave Grohl revealed in a statement posted to Instagram that he has fathered a child outside of his marriage. Since then, the Foo Fighters frontman has reportedly been making efforts to repair his relationship with his wife and their three daughters – even going as far as to cancel shows in order to spend more time focusing on his family.

“Dave is sorry for all the pain he caused Jordyn and their girls, and he wouldn’t blame them if they refused to have anything to do with him,” an insider recently shared with RadarOnline. “Of course, he doesn’t want that, so he’s doing everything he can to win back their trust.”

The source added that Grohl is facing an uphill battle with his daughters Violet, Harper, and Ophelia, telling the publication that they “have taken their mom’s side, and he’s feeling like an intruder in his own home.”

It was recently revealed that Foo Fighters have pulled out of the 2025 Hellfest music festival in France. This band previously cancelled their performance at the Soundside Music Festival this past September, just weeks after news broke of Grohl’s affair.

“Dave’s good-guy image has been shattered,” a source previously said of the musician. “It’s going to take a long time to repair that and his marriage, which is priority No. 1.”
