Brooklyn-based Proper. have announced details of their forthcoming EP, ‘Part-Timer’.
The new five-track project is set for release on September 08 via Father/Daughter Records.
As a flavour for what’s in-store, ‘Part-Timer’ has been teased with brand-new single ‘Potential’.

Explaining the meaning behind the new track, Proper.’s vocalist and guitarist Erik Garlington has described how it delves into his experiences growing up and examines not wanting to waste opportunities both personally and as a band, saying:
“My entire life I’ve been told I have so much wasted potential… I excelled at school, when I wanted to be there, but didn’t walk at graduation.
“I don’t even have a yearbook photo. Then I skipped out on college, even though I had some good schools interested in me for culinary arts. And then, and then, and then… This track is me mulling over the central theme of the record.
“We simply have too much potential to stagnate and accept being just an ‘opener band’.”
