One of the more interesting bands of 2021 is the New Zealand quartet Mild Orange. The group blasted the internet with their single ‘Freak In Me’ back in March that’s garnished almost 3 million views on Youtube. The group self describes their style as “melting melodies” which is exactly what the new single is.

The new jam ‘This Kinda day’ is a nerf dart to the heart, a soft kiss in the daytime. The signature sound of the group is magic when it comes to winding up the flavors of ice cream pop. The group coupled the song with an animation artwork that adds even more layers to enjoy. The animation and design were handled by Fadjar Kurnia along with creative director Josh Mehrtens. The colors splashed and synched incredibly with the arrangement of the song.
